• Junk food does not contain vitamins and minerals and much of the nutrients seen in properly cooked food and raw food. The body does not get the vitamins and minerals necessary for good health and immunity against disease. Consequently, it makes the person who has these foods very prone to disease.

• Junk food makes you fat. People who are obese or morbidly obese are those who prefer junk food and snacks.

• Eating junk food can make you prone to diabetes because it contains too much sugar. You can also become susceptible to heart disease and blood pressure due to the salt and high fats found in these types of foods.

• Packaged junk food contains preservatives and dyes, which contain carcinogens.

• In the long run, junk food actually increases the effects of aging. People show signs of old age faster because they continually eat junk food. This is because continued consumption of junk food exposes the body to long periods of poor nutrition. This flavor should be replaced by foods that are well cooked and delicious, but at the same time healthy for the body, while the intake of salads and fruits must be absorbed and even increased.
